portal GizmoChina , Huawei has released a new notebook
MateBook D 2018 model year. Its design remained unchanged, but the
"filling" was refreshed. In particular, the updated laptop
received a new processor and graphics accelerator.
Huawei MateBook D (2018) is
clad in a metal case with a thickness of 16.9 mm. It is equipped with a
15.6-inch display, which occupies 83% of the surface and has a resolution of
1920x1080 pixels (Full HD). Inside the new laptop is the 8th-generation
Intel Core processor (i5-8250U or i7-8550U), complemented by the Nvidia MX150
graphics processor and 8 GB of RAM. The base model with the Intel Core
i5-8250U will be available in two versions. One of them is equipped with a
256 GB SSD-drive, and the other is equipped with a solid-state drive for 128 GB
SSD also has a 1 TB hard drive. The top model based on the Intel Core
i7-8550U has a 128 GB SSD and a 1 TB HDD.
The battery of 43.3 W • h, as
claimed by the manufacturer, will provide the laptop with up to 10 hours of
battery life or about 8.5 hours of video viewing. Also Huawei MateBook D
(2018) is equipped with a Dolby Atmos speaker system, two USB 3.0 ports, one
USB 2.0 port and an HDMI port. It has Wi-Fi support and is running the
Windows operating system. The laptop comes with a power adapter that weighs
only 175 grams.
Huawei MateBook D (2018) is
already available for purchase in China. Its cost starts from the mark of
5188 yuan (about 45,880 rubles at the current rate) for the base
model. The top version based on Intel Core i7 will cost 6688 yuan (about
59 145 rubles). When and at what price the novelty will appear in other
countries, it is not specified.
